Life feels like it is slowly starting to get back to normal, but for many in our community, these times are still a struggle, both financially and emotionally. To help, on June 1st we started a campaign to raise funds for the Grandview Woodland Food Connection.
Our goal is to raise $1000 for seniors in need.
100% of the funds raised by the EEFC will be used to purchase produce and staples for food hampers to ensure that our most vulnerable community members do not go without nutritious healthy food.
The service is available Tuesdays Wednesdays and Fridays.
We will still hold 10 spots for our senior members.
Please visit east-end-food.coop/delivery for more details about the program.
Please note our hours are still slightly different thanks to Covid-19 and we are open from 9 am to 9 pm. We are using that morning hour to ensure our store is fully stocked AND sanitized for the health and safety of our customers and staff. We won't be hosting any in-store demo's for the near future but keep an eye out for our flyers highlighting our weekly sales and specials.
Update from the EEFC
We would like to thank all our Coop members and shoppers for the social distancing we have all been practicing in the Coop and those outside in-line for showing amazing patience in these hard times!
A few updates to our Covid-19 prevention practices.
Please note, we will no longer be selling loose bulk in the store. We will pack some of the bulk items for our shelves and start selling full case bulk products at 10% off.
We staying on top of sanitizing the store every morning continuously cleaning baskets and carts all day to make sure we have the store as safe as possible for all our members and customers.
We hope to make a few more announcements in the next few days.
We hope you are all staying safe and all practice your social distancing when out in public.
Attention All Members
Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our community.
With that said, we are taking every precaution we can and following government advisories to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our members, shoppers, and staff.
Due to COVID-19, the East End Food Coop will be adjusting its hours and opening at 9 am until further notice due to the implementation of enhanced sanitation procedures.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We support all our staff with any personal health choices they are taking.
